PHOTOCHROME MATERIALS, PHOTOCHROME COMPOSITION, OPTICAL ELEMENT, METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING A PHOTOCHROME COMPOSITION, METHOD FOR INHIBITING PHOTOCHROME MATERIALS FOR A PHOTOGRAPHIC MATERIAL Limitations described in the specification, relating to photochromic materials comprising the reaction product of (a) at least one ring cyclic monomer to be opened, and (b) a photochromic initiator. Other non-limiting embodiments related to photochromic materials represented by formula (I), wherein S? Comprises at least one open ring cyclic monomer, are set forth. Other non-limiting embodiments relating to photochromic materials, optical elements, and methods for inhibiting migration of a photochromic material to a polymeric material using the photochromic materials described herein are also disclosed. Also disclosed are methods for making such photochromic materials, compositions and optical elements.
