FUSION PROTEIN, NUCLEIC ACID ISOLATED, VECTOR, HOST CELL, METHOD OF PRODUCTION OF A POLYPETID, COMPOSITION, METHOD OF MODULATION OF AN IMMUNDS INTO A VIDEO AID FOR A VEHICLE EFFICACY OF RECOMBINATING PROTEIN IN AN INDIVIDUAL AND METHOD OF APPLYING THERAPEUTIC PROTEIN TO A TARGET SITE IN AN INDIVIDUAL. It is a fusion protein that contains a first segment that is located at the amino terminus of the fusion protein and specifically binds to and neutralizes a first cytokine or growth factor; and a second segment that is located at the carboxy terminus of the fusion protein and specifically binds to a second cytokine receptor that is normally rich in disease sites such as the IL-1 receptor rich inflammatory site. Furthermore, said second segment is usually the receptor antagonist, such as the IL-1 receptor antagonist and its equivalent functional analogs. Nucleic acids encoding the fusion protein, vectors and host cells bearing the nucleic acids, and the composition and methods related to the target inflammatory diseases and indications that coexisted with inflammation are also described.
