Use of agent for preparation of medicament for prevention and/or treatment of autoimmune disease or human leukemia of T cell origin or transplant rejection, pharmaceutical composition and kit in which the agent is comprised

In the present invention, there is disclosed the use of an agent for the preparation of a medicament intended for the prevention and/or treatment of an autoimmune disease or human leukemia of T cell origin, wherein (i) the agent is EtxB (thermally labile enterotoxin from Escherichia coli, subunit B) and/or CtxB (cholera toxin, subunit B) being free of subunit A; or (ii) when the agent is to be administered together with an antigenic determinant, then the agent and the antigenic determinant are not connected so as to form a single effective agent. The present invention also provides a pharmaceutical composition containing the above-indicated agent and the kit. Another aspect is the use of the agent for the preparation of a medicament intended for the prevention and/or treatment of transplant rejection or GVHD wherein (i) the agent is EtxB (thermally labile enterotoxin from Escherichia coli, subunit B) being free of A subunit; or (ii) when the agent is to be administered together with an antigenic determinant, then the agent and the antigenic determinant are not connected so as to form a single effective agent. Disclosed is also a pharmaceutical composition in which the above-indicated agent is comprised.
