Improved road markings involve convergent points where on a road one or more marker lines are brought together e.g. from three to two lines providing for teh road capacity after the convergence point better to be used so that congestion is reduced. This is achieved by before the convergence point the number of road markings is increased and then for the markings to be split over several sub-tracks so taht the traffic is eventually brought together on several sub-tracks. Since the sub-tracks have lesser road markings, the traffic will evolve better and the turbulence from traffic changing tracks will lessen. After the traffic has passed, the sub tracks can be further brought together to the required traffic line.
