The invention relates to a biotechnological process for in-vitro culturing the Ganoderma lucidum species for preparing a fungal biomass with immunomodulating, antitumour and anti-infectious properties. The claimed process consists in culturing the Ganoderma lucidum species under submerged conditions, on a liquid nourishing medium of a given composition which is transferred into culturing vessels, is sterilized at the temperature of 121A C, for 24...48 hours, then cooled down to 25A C, inoculated with mycelium from pure cultures and fed to incubators ensuring a constant temperature of 23...25A C and a stirring rate of 100...150 rpm, where they are kept for a period of 5...10 days of submerged fermentation, at the end of which there result a white-yellowish fungal biomass consisting of mycelial formations of a substantially spherical shape which are separated from the liquid medium by centrifugation, while the resulting deposit can be slowly dehydrated in warm air flow and conditioned as particles to be used for preparing pharmaceutical products of the capsule, tablet or dragee type or can be suspended in a physiological saline solution, to be used as drinking solutions. The so obtained biomass contains beta-D-glucans, glycoproteins, triterpenes, ergosterols, and it is characterized by its immunomodulating, antitumour and anti-infectious properties.
