A method for preventing the syndrome of the systemic inflammatory response in patents subjected to the cardiosurgery in the setting of the artificial blood circulation comprises the use of protease inhibitor. Prior to the surgery, the autologous blood is reserved in the volume of one third of the circulating blood volume. The protease inhibitor and the epidural anesthesia are provided prior to the surgery, intraoperatively, and after the surgery. In addition, Corvitin is administered at the moment when the artificial blood circulation is initiated and within three postoperative days. The reserved autologous blood is returned to the patient after the termination of the artificial blood circulation.
