A method for identification of fire arms by bore track on bullet consists in comparison and bringing to correspondence peculiarities of three-dimensional profilograms of tracks of side surfaces of experimental bullets and bullets being studied obtained by means of scanning electron microscope. Peculiarities for identification of fire arms are values of set in sequence angles between straight lines by which approximation of broken lines forming lower peaks of profilograms is performed, number of those angles, sequence of those, spatial orientation and level of displacement of angles as reflection of substantial and stable characteristics of track-forming elements of the bore.
