The invention relates to electric engineering, in particular to cable engineering. A fire-proof power cable consists of a metallic conductor, laid one after another: the first conductive layer made from extruded conducting polymer, an insulating barrier of cross-linked polyethylene, the second conductive layer made from extruded conducting polymer, a conductive non-metallic tape. The cable includes a screen from copper wire and, at least, one copper tape laid by means of wind, a separation layer and a sheath. The sheath comprises admixtures to prevent combustion action along the cable and provides low smoke generation. The insulating barrier and adjacent with it conductive layers made from extruded polymer are laid simultaneously. Such cable construction allows cable to be used in inflammable objects.
