A method for the production of a mixture to be used in highway engineering works as a construction material having 1 increased dynamic strength, better stability and deformability, especially under hard weather conditions. The method is characterised by: heating 4 % to 6% by weight asphalt to a temperature between 100eC and 110°C, mixing it with 64% to 76 % by weight of sand, I with 10% to 15% by weight aggregates having a dimension of 5-14 mm and then 10% to 15% by weight of a sulphur polymer in the form of granulates, flakes or similar; heating the whole mixture to a temperature between 120eC and 130eC for about 15 minutes ' and then pour it onto an initially prepared substrate.
