ELECTRONIC DEVICE FOR CONTROLLING OPERATIVE PARAMETERS OF AN INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE IN ORDER TO OPTIMIZE ITS OPERATION AND A METHOD FOR APPLYING THE CONTROL LOGIC OF SUCH PARAMETERS.
ELECTRONIC DEVICE FOR CONTROLLING OPERATIVE PARAMETERS OF AN INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE IN ORDER TO OPTIMIZE ITS OPERATION AND A METHOD FOR APPLYING THE CONTROL LOGIC OF SUCH PARAMETERS.
An electronic device and a method for controlling the operative parameters of an internal combustion engine, in order to optimize its operation, that uses sensors to obtain the values of the parameters that are characteristic of the engine, and sensors of the engine control signals characterised by the fact that the device has a central unit that calculates the primary, secondary, third and higher order derivates of each value of the parameters and by a database containing a series of combinations of values of operative parameters, that each new combination of values is compared with a similar combination present in the database, to which an increase or decrease of the control signals of the engine is associated in such a way as to induce a forced transitory phase in which the functioning conditions of the engine are forcedly anticipated by supercharging and the injection of fuel etc., preparatory to the functioning of the propulsor in an induced stationary phase.
