The invention provides composite fillers which are to be blended with resins and which are excellent in insulation properties, electromagnetic wave absorption and heat radiation. The invention relates to composite particles which consist of metal particles and inorganic oxide particles and which are characterized in that the diameter of the metal particles is ten or more times that of the inorganic oxide particles and that the composite particles have such a structure that the inorganic oxide particles cover the metal particles in a state sticking in the surfaces of the metal particles. Each of the composite particles is constituted of a laminate composed of flaky soft magnetic metal powders having aspect ratios of 5 or above and inorganic oxide particles wherein the powders and the inorganic oxide particles are laminated with each other. The invention also relates to a composite filler which is to be blended with resin and which comprises the composite particles and inorganic oxide particles not constituting the composite particles.
