The method involves providing explosive bodies (8) on a floor surface (10) in a partially exposed manner. The explosive bodies are burned by a jet nozzle (1) that produces high temperature. The nozzle is arranged at the explosive bodies and gas flame (5) of high temperature is produced by the nozzle. The positioning of the nozzle and the flame is monitored by a camera (6) and performed in a remote-controlled manner. The nozzle is designed as a burner. The camera is integrated at a manipulator arm (2) of a remote-controlled vehicle (3). An independent claim is also included for a device for neutralizing an explosive body.
