A device for setting a service zone in a mobile communication network, a method and a system for providing a zone service using the same, and an application device usable in the system are provided to enable various application devices to connect to a mobile communication network via the zone setting device within a service zone set by the zone setting device by communicating with the zone setting device by using local area wireless technology, and mounting a mobile communication transceiver such as a CDMA(Code Division Multiple Access) module in the zone setting device, so that the application devices can receive various zone services. A service zone setting device(19) sets a service zone for a specific zone service provided by a mobile communication network system to at least one or more mobile communication terminals(21), receiving a mobile communication service by the mobile communication network system, and to an application device(10) which can not be directly connected to the mobile communication network system. The device performs local area wireless communication with the mobile communication terminal and the application device by having a local area wireless communication unit, and sets a local area wireless communication available range as the service zone for the mobile communication terminal and application device. The device has a mobile communication unit for performing communication with the mobile communication network, and relays communication with the mobile communication network system with respect to at least one of the mobile communication terminal and application devices.
