A composition comprising diosgenin and dioscin is provided to promote collagen synthesis, inhibit the collagenase activity and improve the fibroblast proliferation effect and skin elasticity without skin irritation, thereby being effectively used for preventing skin aging and improving wrinkles. A composition for skin anti-aging comprises diosgenin and dioscin in a weight ratio or 1.5-2.5:1. A cosmetic for skin anti-aging comprises the composition as an effective ingredient and has a formulation selected from the group consisting of nutritive cream, astringent, skin lotion, essence, nutritive gel and massage cream. A food for skin anti-aging comprises the composition as an effective ingredient.
