A shared channel scheduler device in a wireless packet communication system and a shared channel scheduling method using the device are provided to control priority for each user and each service, thereby sending various services in desired quality as offering differentiated services to each user. A service ID supported by received data is confirmed by using information received from an upper layer(1), and priority corresponding to the service ID is perceived(S11-S16). A shared channel is scheduled in consideration of the priority and a buffer capacity of data of a mobile terminal in transmission idle state(S23). When the shared channel is scheduled, channel state information on the mobile terminal is further considered.
