A method for treating sewage is provided to improve the contact efficiency between polluted matters and ozone, thereby increasing the speed for decomposing the polluted matters, by performing an advanced oxidation process at a high pressure so as to dissolve more ozone. A high pressure photo-oxidation unit(60) presses sewage at high pressure by a photo-oxidation pressing pump(65) and ozone generated in an ozone generator(70), and decomposes the pressed sewage through photo-oxidation. Floating matters and polluted matters are removed through DOF(Dissolved Ozone/Air Flotation), by inputting the high pressure reactant, which is outputted from the photo-oxidation unit, into a secondary pretreatment flotation tank(32) and a liquid-gas separation flotation tank(40). The sewage, which flows into a first pretreatment flotation tank(31) from a sewage storage tank(10), is treated through DOF to remove floating matters and polluted matters, by pressing a gas containing unreacted ozone, which is collected above the secondary pretreatment flotation tank and the liquid-gas separation tank, together with the sewage supplied from the sewage storage tank. An exhaust gas ozone removal unit(50) decomposes residual unreacted ozone outputted from the first pretreatment flotation tank.
