A taper roller bearing retainer manufacturing system with a retainer holding device is provided to perform a grooving, chamfering or punching operation promptly and safely by using a side puncher by holding a retainer semi-finished product fully automatically and solidly, and form side rectangular grooves to an accurate angle by placing the retainer semi-finished product on the retainer holding device. In a retainer manufacturing system comprising: a side puncher having a holding device consisting of a holding part, a supporting part, and a moving part; a chamfer; and a bottom face puncher, a taper roller bearing retainer manufacturing system is characterized in that the holding part comprises a holding head(10) consisting of: a head block(3) which is mounted on a front end of the holding head, in which a shaft hole(8) is formed, and which has a protrusion(18) inserted into one side of the shaft hole thereof and supported by an elastic body(31) in a way that the protrusion is partially protruded from the holding head; a collet(5) on which at least one slit(13) is longitudinally formed, in which a central shaft hole(11) is formed, a portion of an inner peripheral surface of the central shaft hole being tapered to be opened to the front side, which has a wedge(15) circumferentially projected from a front end thereof, and which is inserted into the shaft hole of the head block; and a slider(7) which is inserted into the central shaft hole of the collet, of which a front portion is tapered, and of which a rear portion is formed in a cylindrical shape such that the rear portion of the slider is slidable along a cylindrical inner peripheral surface of the central shaft hole.
