A traditional Korean-style apartment house provides a traditional Korean-style shared space and a sitting place such as a traditional Korean-style dae chung floor or an arbor. The traditional Korean-style apartment house includes a living loom as a shared space for residential members and a balcony extending from the living room. The living room includes an extension region in which a ceiling slab surface of the living room is higher than a reference ceiling slab surface of the living room, and an elevated floor region in which a floor slab surface of the living room is higher than a reference floor slab surface of the living room. The ceiling slab surface of the extension region has approximately the same height as a ceiling of the balcony.
