OXYGEN GENERATING APPARATUS AND AIR-CONDITIONER HAVING THE SAME

An oxygen generating device and an air conditioner having the same are provided to mount a muffler cap to a muffler, wherein the muffler cap has a hole smaller than that of a muffler outlet, thereby minimizing a hole, through which discharge noise transmits to the outside. An oxygen generating device includes an oxygen generator for separating nitrogen from the air to generate oxygen, supply pipes connected to the oxygen generator for oxygen supply, and a muffler(500) connected to the supply pipe. The muffler has a muffler cap(510) for reducing the noise generated by the discharge of the oxygen. The muffler cap has a hole(511) with a diameter(D2) smaller than that(D1) of an outlet of the muffler, wherein the diameter of the muffler cap is in the range from 15% to 30% of that of the muffler outlet.
