Creating structural configurations of modular reconfigurable machine tools by using cryptographic mapping and function proving are provided to obtain the structure of machine tools by using module units constructing the machine tools logically and systematically. Mutual connectivity surfaces and connectivity directions between modules are defined, and the defined information is encoded by using binary codes(S10). The encoded information is stored at a database in the form of a module library(S20). All structures, which are able to be generated from the stored modules, are combined in a bilinear form(S30). The binary codes for the structures are decoded into geometric structures such that a designer recognizes the structures through an encoding scheme(S40). A machining function of the decoded structure is proved(S50). The final structure is obtained by checking the redundancy of structures having different binary codes and the same geometric shape(S60).
