FIELD: laser engineering.;SUBSTANCE: proposed optical resonator characterized in high peak power and repetition frequency attained due to connection of this resonator to other identical resonators to form laser assembly has solid-state medium; its pulsed mode is provided by continuously running diodes characterized in that they have at least two laser rods and means for initiating resonator pulses. Mentioned means for initiating resonator pulses is installed in resonator part wherein resonator-generated beam has least degree of divergence. There are also two resonator bounding mirrors of which one is characterized in high reflection power and other one is semi-reflecting mirror. Resonator also has polarization plane turning means installed on beam path at each interval formed by two rods arranged in tandem; this turn preferably amounts to 90°. Laser assembly has at least three optical resonators (2, 4, 6) according to claim 1 and light pulse transfer means 14 that actually sends pulse to one point on target 16 and actually at same moment in this point. Device also has optical resonator control means 18 designed so that all resonator pulse initiating means incorporated in device are operating in step.;EFFECT: enhanced peak power, simplified design, reduced cost, and enhanced operating reliability.;16 cl, 7 dwg
