The hydraulic gearwheel machine (1) comprises external gear pump, which has a front side of a closer head (6,8) sealed housings (2). A gear wheel system (10) is provided with gear wheels (12,14) arranged in inner chamber (4) and mesh with external interference supported in bearing support (26, 28). The gear wheel opposite to the housing has reduced axial length and is held with axial play (Y) in the inner chamber. An axial field seal (36, 38) is arranged between closer head and housings with bearing support on the other side. A bearing support supporting surface (40, 42) is shifted opposite to a housing-lateral supporting surface for the axial field seal. The supporting surfaces are formed in the transition region between bearing support and housings.
