The device includes conversion of a signal to a volume or a weight measure of condensate water effectively gathered by a collecting surface of a measuring sensor. The signal range is extended, so that the entire condensate volume of a year is collected without counter overflow. The signal is delivered to acquire the measurement values over an electronic divisor inserted in an inlet of sensor electronics or an interference in a display unit.
