The sacrificial anode for cathodic corrosion protection, comprises an anode body (1), a mounting component (4) for mounting the sacrificial anode on the heaters to be protected, and a resistive element (7) inserted between the anode body and the mounting component. A contact element (3) is cast-in into the anode body, is connected with a core passing through the anode body and arranged as metal pin. The contact point is formed from an end of the metal pin. The contact element is galvanically connected with the anode body. The sacrificial anode for cathodic corrosion protection, comprises an anode body (1), a mounting component (4) for mounting the sacrificial anode on the heaters to be protected, and a resistive element (7) inserted between the anode body and the mounting component. A contact element (3) is cast-in into the anode body, is connected with a core passing through the anode body and arranged as metal pin. The contact point is formed from an end of the metal pin. The contact element is galvanically connected with the anode body, which is led through the galvanically isolated mounting component and which leads a galvanically contactable contact point (2) on mounted condition of the sacrificial anode at the heaters. The resistive element is inserted between the contact point (2) and the mounting component. The potential of the anode body is measurable over the contact point. The contact element is arranged as grub screw. The resistive element is circular and is fastened on the grub screw by means of nut. The resistive element is elastically stored by means of a shaft disk-ring. The resistive element is intended as a miniaturized printed circuit board with ohmic resistance in surface mounted device-construction. Magnesium anode is intended as press rod anode or as casting rod anode.
