The sacrificial anode for cathodic corrosion protection, comprises an anode body (1), a mounting component (4) for mounting the sacrificial anode on the heaters to be protected, and a resistive element (7) inserted between the anode body and the mounting component. A contact element (3) is cast-in into the anode body, is connected with a core passing through the anode body and arranged as metal pin. The contact point is formed from an end of the metal pin. The contact element is galvanically connected with the anode body.
