The device has a leg (20) comprising a cross-beam (22) extending in a plane running parallel to a panel of a computer housing (2) and a column (24) that is connected to the cross-beam, where the column is supported on a ground surface. The cross-beam is positioned and fixed in a flexible manner in such a manner that the cross-beam projects over an edge of a projection surface running parallel to the plane of the computer housing. An inclination device is provided for realizing different inclination angle of the notebook around a longitudinal axis of the cross-beam.
