The metallic pipe joint (1) has inserting sections (2) for connecting metal tubes (10) with polymer casing (11) by thermal joining process. The outside diameter of an inserting section is smaller than the inside diameter of the metal tube, which can be connected. Around the outer circumference one or more circulating heat insulators (3) are arranged. The heat insulators are made of ceramic, polymer or teflon.
