The method involves applying a sinusoidal alternating voltage with a frequency, and measuring resulting alternating current (AC) and the current's phase shift in comparison with the voltage. A sinusoidal alternating current is applied with the frequency, and resulting alternating voltage and the latter voltage's phase shift are measured in comparison with the applied current. Real and imaginary parts of an AC resistance are calculated. The parts are compared with reference values. The measurement, the calculation and the comparison are repeated for another frequency. An independent claim is also included for a device for the determination of content of a component of a cinder fused material.
