The drive (1) has a housing with a lower part and a cover, whereby the lower housing part has two holders (14,15), the first for receiving parts of a closer section (30) and the other for receiving parts of a drive section (40). The closer section and the drive section interact with a driven shaft (2) held in the second holder and are arranged adjacent to each other in a longitudinal direction and extending in the extension direction of the driven shaft. An independent claim is also included for an insert housing with a rotary panel drive.
