The wing (1) has a wing spar (3) and a flexible cover (5) at least partly forming its outer surface and can be assembled to an assembled state suitable for flight and dismantled to a dismantled state. The wing has a number of ribs (6,7,9) that at least partly impart the flight worthy shape, each pivotably joined to the spar. At least some of the ribs are joined to the cover at their end regions so that the wing can be assembled and dismantled by sliding the cover along the longitudinal axis (10) of the spar. Independent claims are also included for the following: (A) a hang glider, ultra light aircraft, glider or vehicle for driving and flying with at least one inventive wing (B) and a method of assembling and dismantling an inventive wing.
