The device has a pair of closure unit sets (42, 44), which are fixed at supporting bands (10, 12). The closure unit sets are connected together with a slider and detachable from each other. Spacing pads (18, 20) are fixed at the supporting bands and provided for overlaying on the wound to absorb wound secretion. Fluid impermeable foil bands (30, 32) are provided at the supporting bands between the spacing pads and the closure unit sets. The foil bands cover the closure unit sets in a closed condition of the closure unit sets.
