The connector has a clamping element (5) arranged between a fixing part (2) and a support body (1) and axially movable relative to the part in a direction of a free end (7). A claw element (6) is arranged within the part and has a claw for being engaged into or pressed at an outer side of a pipeline (4) at a radial inwardly directing side. The element (6) is connected with the element (5), such that a negligible radial force is exerted during radially inwardly directed movement of an inwardly directing wall area of the element (5).
