The connecting shaft (12) has an outer pipe (14) and an inner pipe (13), where outside diameter of the inner pipe is partially smaller than inside diameter of the outer pipe. The outer pipe and the inner pipe are connected with each other in a torque-proof manner by sliding teeth (15). An axial safety device exhibits a radially protruding locking ring (28), which is accommodated in a groove in an outer casing (16) of the inner pipe. The locking ring is an axial stop unit for a front side (29) of an axial inner end of the outer pipe.
