The procedure for processing fluid for sterilization and elimination of pollutants such as microorganisms, pyrogen and pesticides contained in the fluid, comprises exposing fluid cavitation producing the effect of ultraviolet radiation and hydroxyl radical and obtaining hydrogen peroxide produced through the cavitation by an additional oxidative effect through UV-irradiation for UV-disinfection so that the efficiency is substantially increased by UV-disinfection plant. An independent claim is included for a device for processing of fluid for sterilization and elimination of pollutants contained in the fluid.
