The tool (2) has a base frame attached to a retainer (8) of a cutting press (1), and a cutting module facing a workpiece and detachably connected with the base frame. The base frame and cutting module are form-fittingly connected by a quick-opening device, where the cutting module includes adjustable guiding elements for the workpiece. A cable rope (6) is bypassed to the cutting press and a traction power acting in a traction direction (5) is applied by a crane system, such that the tool is moved in a retraction direction.
