The method involves detecting personal data of a person, and storing the personal data in a data set. The personal data is encrypted with a unique random key before storing the data, where the key is subsequently encrypted. The key is generated by a data processing program in a detection module (18). The key is decrypted during realization of transaction performed by the person, and the personal data is decrypted with the random key for identifying the person performing the transaction.
