The device has an output shaft (44) extending from an engine (41) to output a rotational drive power of the engine. A drive shaft (46) is connected with the output shaft by a drive joint (45). An input shaft (48) is connected with an end of the drive shaft. A damping mechanism (69) is provided in a power transmission path from the engine to an end reduction gear (52). The mechanism transfers a torque from the engine or a wheel (16) until the torque reaches a pre-set value, and prevents transmission of the torque exceeding the value.
