The method involves detecting and calculating dimensionally stable surface points of a produced structure. The dimensionally stable surface points are assigned to coordinates in a three dimensional coordinate system. A mould is prepared by a material removal process, based on the coordinates. The mould is made of multiple, particularly disk shaped individual elements, which are connected with each other. An independent claim is also included for a mould for a manufacturing method for producing a three-dimensional structure.
