The windshield wiper system has a round rotary motor (6) as driving motor. A controlling unit (7) is provided with an energy storage (8), where the round rotary motor receives a reversed current impulse for a predetermined change of the parking position of a wiper lip. The current impulse is predetermined in active connection with the controlling unit by switching off an ignition, and this change of the parking position is cancelled by switching on the ignition. An independent claim is also included for a method for placing the wiper lip by a round rotary motor.
