The capacitive sensor (1) has a reference impedance (4), a measuring capacitor (5), an electrical alternating signal source (6), a current guiding network, and an evaluation unit (7). The reference impedance and the measuring capacitor stands in connection with the alternating signal source and the evaluation unit, by the current guiding network so that the charge and the discharge current of the reference impedance and the measuring capacitor are evaluated partially by the evaluation unit.
