Crystalline thermoplastic polymer compositions comprising (A) a crystalline thermoplastic polymer and also (B) a crystal nucleating agent on aluminum hydroxide in amounts of 1-20 parts by weight (pts. wt.) (B) to 100 pts. wt. (A), in which (B) comprises a nucleating agent on the surface of anisotropic aluminum hydroxide particles, showing a specific BET surface of 20-150 m 2/g. An independent claim is included for a crystal nucleating agent on the surface of anisotropic Al(OH) 3 particles as described above.
