The component (10) has a pressure control chamber (101) supplied with fuel by a high pressure fuel channel. A low pressure channel (105) is configured to be held under a pressure lower than pressure in the high pressure channel. Throttle channels (104) connect the chamber and the channel (105). A valve unit (160) closes and opens the channels (104) and controls fuel flow from the chambers to the low pressure channel. The throttle channels have ends in a throttle defining surface (102). The valve unit closes the throttle channels, when the valve unit blocks the throttle defining surface.
