The collision detector (1) has a deformed part which is ductile or deformed by collision, and a sensor (20) with a coil (41) in a shape, which bents by deformation of the ductile part. The coil is formed in a shape that the coil is wound in a plain. A processing switch (30) produces an electric signal proportional to self inductance of the coil. A collision determining unit (40) determines the collision of the ductile part depending upon the changes in the electric signal.
