The bed has a frame on which rods (1), detachable barriers (2) and ladders (3) are mounted. The frame is composed of posts (4) connected with each other by lower longitudinal beams (5), upper longitudinal beams (6) and lower transversal beams (7) and upper transversal beams (8). The poles, an upper transversal beam (10) and the rods define a wardrobe. Each barrier is constituted by barrier elements (2.1, 2.2) delimiting a passage providing access to the ladders which permit a user to descend from the bed. The passage allows access to a mattress, for preparing the bed.
