The assembly has a guiding unit for moving a console (4) and including a fixed rail (12) integrated to a body of vehicle and a movable rail (10) slidingly mounted with respect to the fixed rail. A pin (14) has a fixed part (34) anchored on the rail (10) by a flange (44). The pin has a mobile part (38) moving with respect to the fixed part between an active position in which the part (38) penetrates in a fixation hole (32) of the rail (12) for blocking the rail (12) with respect to the rail (10) and a retracted position in which the mobile part is separated from the fixed rail.
