The arrangement has a preheater plug (62) comprising a heating element (74) positioned in a determined vertical plane passing through a vertical axis (XX) of a piston (36), vertical axis (AA) of a de-centered combustion housing (38) and through a lower end of a fuel injector (52). A combustion chamber (24) has a lower part delimited by the piston and an upper part delimited by a portion of a lower surface (20) of a cylinder head (22) in an engine (12). The heating element is extended inside the chamber for being contacted with fuel or air/fuel mixture introduced in the chamber.
