The device has a sensor i.e. Hall-effect sensor, assembly (60) for allowing one of driven and driving magnetic assemblies (40, 50) to generate magnetic field when a rotating element (30) is positioned along an angular orientation, so that the assemblies (40, 50) generate magnetic forces to cause rotation of the element. The sensor assembly prevents the assemblies (40, 50) to generate the field when the element is positioned along another angular orientation with respect to the assembly (50) to allow the element to continue its rotation along the former orientation using an inertia effect.
