The barrier has arms (3-5) independently mounted on a guard rail (90) through upper pivoting ends (31, 41, 51), where the guard rail globally presents an extension direction (10) of a zone i.e. private swimming pool. Ropes (61-64) are coupled to the arms for handling the arms by pivoting between a folded position and an expanded position. The arms are extended along the extension direction in the folded position, and are extended in a barrier plane (100) in the expanded position.
