Hybrid drive chain's automatically-controlled gearbox testing method for hybrid motor vehicle, involves arranging electric machine at input end of gearbox, where gearbox is driven in rotation by machine in test phase at neutral position
The method involves equipping an electric traction machine (12) in series on a main shaft (8) with a thermal engine (1), and arranging the machine at an input end of an automatically-controlled gearbox (9) including a set of mechanical parts, where the parts of the gearbox are to be tested in rotation. The gearbox is driven in rotation by the machine in a test phase at a neutral position. A drag torque value of the gearbox is deducted from a deceleration value of the shaft, where the torque value is compared to acceptance threshold indicating potential malfunction of the gearbox.
