PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyolefin microporous film excellent in permeability and strength. PSOLUTION: This polyolefin microporous film is characterized by containing 100 pts.wt. polyolefin resin composition consisting of a 10 pts.mass and 98 pts.mass polypropylene and a 90 pts.mass and 2 pts.mass ethylene, and 3 pts.mass and 300 pts.mass inorganic particles and having a 6 molecular weight distribution (Mw/Mn) of the polyethylene, and the method for producing the same is also provided.
