PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ice/snow removal device for a railway vehicle canceling dangerous work and peeling/dropping off ice/snow deposited on a vehicle body at a place where the ice/snow is desired to be peeled/dropping off without previously ensuring a large number of workers.;SOLUTION: The ice/snow removal device 12 for the railway vehicle is constituted so as to include a vibration generation device 16 for vibrating a wall plate constituting a skirt part facing to a front side and a rear side of a wheel; and a support structure 18 for allowing the vibration of the wall plate and supporting the wall plate. The wall plate is constituted such that a plurality of sheets of plate materials 20 are aligned. The support structure 18 is provided with a support member 24 supported by a vehicle body and clamping both ends in a longitudinal direction of the plurality of sheets of plate materials 20 from both sides in a thickness direction of the plate materials 20 through an elastic member 22. The vibration generation device 16 is constituted so as to include an electric motor 30 supported under a floor of the vehicle body; a portion 3002 displaced in a radial direction of an output shaft from the output shaft of the electric motor 30; and a connection member 32 for individually connecting the plurality of sheets of plate materials 20.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
